(2)打斷(談話),插嘴,打擾(stop a person while he is saying or doing sth,esp by saying sth oneself)[T+n,T+n+prep(with),I,I+prep(with)](derog):Please do not~(me)when I am talking. 我說(shuō)話時(shí)請(qǐng)不要打斷。~sb (sb's speech) with silly questions 用愚蠢的問(wèn)題打斷某人的談話;Children must learn not to~.小孩子必須學(xué)會(huì)不插嘴。
(3)破壞……的一致性(destroy the uniformity of)[T+n]:Breakwaters~the long stretch of beach at intervals. 防波堤使長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的沙灘有幾處斷開(kāi)。
(4)阻礙,遮擋(obstruct) [T+n]:Those houses~the view. 那些房子阻礙了視線。
