1. dispersed in many directions; cast down upon theground,defeated 四散的；（又解）推翻在地的，被打敗的。
△3H.VI. 2.6.92: “And having France thy friend,thou shalt not dread / The scattered foe that hopes to rise again；”有了法蘭西國王做你的朋友，你就不必害怕被打翻在地的(又譯：被打散的)敵人再起來。
2. divided,disunited,distracted分開的，分裂的，混亂的。
