地平天成dì píng tiān chéngthe earth is reduced to order,and the influences of Heaven operate with effect/《夏書》曰： “～”，稱也。(《左傳·僖二十四年》)In the Books of Xia it is said，“The earth is reduced to order,and the influences of Heaven operate with effect.”—there was a correspondency between them.
? 帝曰：“俞，～，六府三事允治，萬世永賴，時乃功?！?(《尚書·大禹謨》) The emperor said，“Yes,the earth is now reduced to order,and the influences of heaven operate with effect; those six magazines and three businesses are all truly regulated,so that a myriad generations may perpetually depend on them:—this is your merit!” 地平天成dì pinɡ tiān chénɡ平：安定；成：安定。比喻一切都已準(zhǔn)備好。everything is ready, all in ready, all in order |
