? （奪去） take away: 怯者夜見立表， 以為鬼也， 風寢石， 以為虎也， 懼 ～ 其氣也。 At night, when a coward saw an erect carved column he thought of it as a ghost. When he saw a stone, he regarded it as a tiger. Fear took away his courage.
