2. pious,devoted,conscientious虔誠的，忠實(shí)的，真心實(shí)意的。
△Tw.3.4.426(389): “A coward,a most devoutcoward,religious in it.”i.e. devoted to cowardice. —個(gè)懦夫，一個(gè)虔誠的懦夫，簡直是崇拜怯懦。
3. conscientious,scrupulous,strict憑良心辦事的，一絲不茍的，嚴(yán)格的。
