蒙昧無知指昏蒙不知。圣經(jīng)中指人對神的慈愛救贖，處于沒有知識、不認(rèn)識、不明白的狀態(tài)。
2.圣經(jīng)記載：
1)保羅指出神借著大自然向人顯示他自己，但人不尋求他，反而去敬拜人手所作的偶像。神仍有憐憫，他希望世人歸向神，說：“世人蒙昧無知的時候，神并不監(jiān)察，如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改?！?徒17:29—30)神寬容人先時所犯的罪。(羅3:25)人若不悔改，神的審判要臨到他們。(徒17:31)
2)“你們既作順命的兒女，就不要效法從前蒙昧無知的時候那放縱私欲的樣子?！?彼前1:14)
