? 孤與其二三臣，～，社稷之不皇，況能懷思君德！ (《左傳·昭七年》)…and then our ruler and his ministers,in the grief of their hearts,were not able to take proper measures . They had not leisure to attend to the business of the altars,and much less were they able to show how they cherished and thought of his kindness. 悼心失圖dào xīn shī tú悼：傷心；圖：謀劃。因傷心而失去主張。wounded in spirit, one is confused in planning; Grieved in heart, one relinquished one’s plan. |
