△2H.VI.3.1.302:“Nay,then,this spark will prove a raging fire,/Ifwind and fuel be brought to feed it with.”別這樣吧，這么一點火星，如果再來陣風、添點柴，就要變成一場烈火的。
2. raving,wanton,lustful 瘋狂的，放肆的，淫蕩的。
△R.III. 3.5.81 (82): “Which stretched unto their(i.e. the citizens’) servants,daughters,wives,/ Even where his raging eye or savage heart,/ Without con-trol,lusted to make a prey，”他的淫欲伸展向他們的婢仆、女兒、妻子，只消他那淫蕩的眼睛一轉、他那野蠻的心思一動，就肆無忌憚，總要貪求著獵取的對象。
3. causing extreme pain引起極大痛苦的。
